Well folks, things really ended with a bang. The Monitor, gone. The YBRBJ, defeated, and their source of power gone. The Manhunter robots, fled. Brainiac, dormant. Oblivion, dead. Hundreds of millions dead, and the world ravaged. And, things really aren't done. The Manhunter robots are still out there, and they took some of the heroes hostage. We'll find them. Brainiac is just sleeping, planning his next move, no doubt. We'll be ready. The world has faced its fears, literally, and come through it, hopefully stronger for the experience. Superman is back. And, apparently, I'm half Kryptonian. I was the sun over Australia. I don't get my powers from my Kryptonian genes, and I don't suffer from Kryptonite exposure, but my body can still store solar energy, with the use of an energy harness, but it doesn't seem to do anything with it.
Its been a rough couple of years. Oblivion seemed to kick off this bad period, and things just seemed to get worse from there. We've come through a lot, the last couple of years, all of us. And, I'm tired. I'm tired because I've just gone through the most intense and prolonged series of combats I've ever been in before. I don't need to sleep much, but I'm tired. I'm tired because... You know what, fuck that. I'm not ending this entry on a downer. WE WERE VICTORIOUS!!! The Birds of Prey, personally, have pissed off Sinestro, and I, personally, can't think of a better person to piss off. Our foes have been vanquished from the field, one by one, and if they are not all gone, it is only because this latest foe has taken up so much of our damned time. Cyborg, Robot Man, Red Tornado, and Skeet were all saved from Oblivion. Superman is back! Now is not the time to mourn our dead, or look to our troubles in the future. Now is the time to celebrate our victory! To celebrate LIFE! Whatever the future brings, we will face, as we faced these events. The light of humanity still burns bright (and yes, I still count myself as human). I'm still tired, but I live yet. I go to celebrate that fact. Join me!
